Zombie Boy by Marc Quinn White Cube Frieze Art Fair 2011Zombie Boy detail by Marc Quinn White Cube Frieze Art Fair 2011Rick Genest, aka Zombie Boy, has become a muse not only to famous fashion director, Nicola Formichetti, but now to world renown British sculptor, Marc Quinn.  We've posted Zombie Boy multiple times here on Street Anatomy, but for those of you who don't know, he has become famous for his head-to-toe morbidly themed tattoos.Marc Quinn has now immortalized the Zombie Boy's tattoos in a life-size cast created in Cu Pb Mn Fe Mg Si (copper, lead, manganese, iron, magnesium, and silicon). Displayed at the White Cube Gallery at the Frieze Art Fair, I had the opportunity to see this in person and the detail is incredible!  Each tattoo has been etched perfectly into the cast and Quinn has captured the somber and somewhat indifferent look of the Zombie Boy in his full glory.Read more about Zombie Boy at rickgenest.com and see more of Marc Quinn's fabulous work at marcquinn.com
