It’s Raining Clavicles & Distal Phalanges

This project was inspired by the magazine ReadyMade. We were given the task of finding objects that are commonly discarded, and re-purposing them in a way similar to projects found in the magazine. Our instructors challenged us further by requiring drawn instructions with only the most necessary text include

How badass is this x-ray umbrella? It’s worth packing my bags and ditching the dry prairies for a more deserving climate.

    What a marvellous idea!
I’m a medical student in France and can only imagine how fun it would be to walk down the streets of Nice under selected x-rays^^
Is it possible to purchase them anywhere?

uhm, sorry but really don’t think this is possible. not only would the film deteriorate but the umbrella would not fold closed. also there are chemicals in x-ray film and when then get wet would wash out. x-ray film should be discarded appropriately through a designated facility which removes valuable silver from the film (to re-use btw).
