What exactly is a Capelobo?

Not sure what it is, but here is the anatomy of a Capelobo.

Capelobo by Walmor Correa

This is the work of Brazilian artist Walmor Corra. Like so many medical illustrators, Walmor’s first real contact with art began in his science and biology classes at school. His drawing ability combined with his love of science led him into the lab where he helped dissect small animals and draw their anatomy.

His exhibition, entitled Cryptozoology, is the quest for unknown, rumored, or hidden animals. Combining human anatomy with strange creatures, Walmor creates anatomical charts mimicking those found at any doctors office or anatomy lab. Great stuff, very imaginative, and nice medical illustration.
