  1. Hi there,

This is Nikki from Articulate, the Emmy® award-winning magazine show on PBS with more than 5 million viewers annually. We’re a television series that explores the human experience through the lens of art, culture and creative expression. We are currently broadcast in more than 100 markets across the U.S. including 47 of the top 50.

Articulate is not your typical arts show, nor for that matter, your typical interview show. We look for artists who help shape our understanding of the world, which is why Vanessa Ruiz is of particular interest to us.

Would she be interested in interviewing with us for a profile sometime? We’re based in Philadelphia and would like to bring her here to our studio, which I’m happy to coordinate and cover travel expenses. The interview would last approximately one hour, with an additional hour for b-roll. In addition, in order to more fully tell Vanessa’s story, we will appreciate access to her personal collection of photos and videos.

To give you an idea of the show, here’s a link to a recent segment on Memento Mori (https://www.pbs.org/video/our-greatest-fear-vvxvvi/).

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

    All the best,
    Nikki

  3. Wanted to let you know about an illustration project I did last summer, focusing on mnemonics used by medical students to help memorize “high-yield” anatomy facts — — thanks!

  4. Dr. Jorge Avendaño

I´m a full time professor at the School of Medicine National University of México (Mexico City) I would like to show Street Anatomy work to the students of the Department of Anatomy just for academic purposes. I’ll give all due credits. Could I have your authorization for it?. Dr. Jorge Avendaño (México City)

  5. Alfonso Reynoso-Rábago

Maybe some pieces of the Mexican José Guadalupe Posada could enreach your beautiful collection.

  6. I wrote a lengthy comment via contact, when I finished (send) it dissappeared, I’m not sure if it got through. Just in case, the highlight from that message:
