This Pillow May Talk Back
If there was ever an anatomical pillow I'd let hang out on my couch, it would be this one by designer Heather Lins. Handmade using eco-friendly fabrics that pop off of the soft black wool felt, this pillow evokes the anatomical illustrations found in 1960s science books. The science behind this pillow is in its sustainable materials using recycled polyester, made from post-consumer and post-industrial sources (including PET soda and water bottles).
Once a graphic designer, Heather turned away from designing on screen to screen-printing by hand focusing on using eco-friendly home textiles and stationery. She started Heather Lins Home and designs iconic science accent pillows that are a perfect quirky and nerdy addition to your home. Her work can be found at Uncommon Goods along with many more talent artists and wall art.
This is just one of the many anatomical items in my home that make my friends go "I get it, you like anatomy."
