Ernesto Yerena was the 2011 Racial Justice Poster Contest winner with this poster made from the heart. (I really love the rose being held by the Superior Vena Cava!)The contest is held by the Akonadi Foundation, a movement dedicated to abolishing structural racism and social inequality in the United States. The poster contest commemorates the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, a result of the Sharpeville Massacre in South Africa.Awesome movement, awesome poster, awesome concept.
