Congestive Art Failure

Really interesting illustration by BBOR 62.  I LOVE LOVE the badass owl head giving some attitude...A bit from BBOR 62:

The theme for the show was medical illustrations. I used various vintage medical illustrations treated and modified with for the main composition. The wood was prestained and spray painted, then I transferred the image over the top. Before sealing, I drew the extra veins and wires connecting the rest of the piece together.
