The Last Moon is a new collaboration between Paul Rentler and Lonny Hurley (who is always great). Their new “Skull” art print is a 25″ x 25″ screenprint, has an edition of only 20, and is $40. Expect to see a lot of cool stuff from these guys in the future. Grab one in the Gigposters.com Classifieds.

The work of American artist Margot Knight sticks in the mind: a strange parallel universe of double takes and playful, sometimes dark, surrealism. She draws inspiration from a rich history of photographic artists who focus on the body and her parents’ medical textbooks. She says, “I begin with objects or bodies or plants and try to give them more life, or a different kind of life. Loneliness, exuberance, and wonder take on physical form.” She currently lives and works in Seattle, where she is working on a new series called Procreation.
Amazing. No other words are needed.

This poster is beautiful. I love things that have good texture (especially if they look like old paper) and this one in particular is very simple and effective. I’m also a sucker for hearts. However, I can’t for the life of me figure out who the artist is, but it came from this site, through this parent directory link. Hmmm. Maybe I’m missing something here, anyone? The artists has a whole list of other great works, I recommend a browse if you have the time.
