This is my first attempt at customizing a vinyl toy (in this case a Toyer Qee). The idea was to make him look like a Visible Man, but with some odder internal anatomy (mostly labeled).

If only all anatomical terms were as easy to remember as “peeper” and “pooper.”

Conversations from the Inside

W+K Amsterdam made a series of films for Nike each telling the story of a top female athlete.

This trippy “medical animation” spot, showing the story of Nicola Sanders, details exactly what the body goes through when running a race.  And apparently it’s a lot more crazy than pumping some blood and working some muscles!

The production company who did this spot, Paranoid U.S., produce some of the most beautiful and innovative work seen on tv commercials today.  Definitely take a look through some of their other projects.
