Can anyone guess who this lovely young celebrity is?
Stop by tomorrow to find out.
Been meaning to put up this romantic street art for a while now.
Thanks to Marije for submitting this piece!
Head over to the Anatomical Street Art Gallery for more.
Anatomy has always been cool, but lately there has been an increase in the number of clothes and accessories featuring well designed anatomical/medical illustrations. So much so that I needed to start a separate category on this blog just for apparel! And I’m not just talking about the ubiquitous skull image, but also anatomical hearts, lungs, arteries, brains, vintage anatomical illustrations, etc. Thus begins a new series of posts called Anatomic Fashion Friday that will feature apparel made by anatomically inspired designers.
To start things off I give you, Cloudy lungs and Starving stomach hoodies by contemporary artist Dee Adams.

That’s exactly how my stomach feels around lunchtime.

Jason Clay Lewis is a multidisciplinary artist whose main focus seems to center around death and disease. But instead of coming across as dark and macabre, Jason infuses his work with a bit of humor. Combine that with good clean design and one can almost look past the morbid themes.
Make sure to check out every inch of Jason’s portfolio to take in his wide range of works.
