Don’t Rain on My Parade

Shocking billboard commissioned by the local government in Papakura, New Zealand to warn drivers of the hazards of driving on wet roads.  I can’t help but feel that these billboards might actually cause an accident or two…  And I must quote my co-worker Matt here “What if it was a sunshower? All pretty outside, and then omg children bleeding profusely from their face!”  Indeed.

I would tend to agree, I think that could be distracting. A bit like how a roadside tribute to 4 people killed distracted another woman driving and she got killed. They removed the tribute and the people who put it there got annoyed.

jenny and vanessa, i am from kiwiland. tis true we are shocking drivers, have bad cars with thin metal, and go like the clappers during the rains. much could be avoided especially with the help of these billboards. i always believe billboard signs so there!
