Holy crap, when’s the last time you’ve seen a My Little Pony?

I’ve actually got quite a few My Little Ponies jumbled in a bin in my mom’s basement (not many people know that little tidbit), but none are as cool as this MLP sporting an anatomical heart.  Her name is “Vena” after the Superior and Inferior Vena Cava of the heart and she was handpainted by Willow who plans to do a whole series of anatomically themed MLP’s.  Nice detail work on that tiny heart!

    I am in love with this. While I was always more into tmnt, MLP has a special place in my heart.

    Oh man, I may be too old, but I still love My Little Ponies! I had tons of them when I was little, this one is pretty fantastic.

    @ladyface – I heart TMNT too…Donatello especially

    The only thing better than an MLP is a well customised MLP, and this is such a thing. While true to the dainty, pretty spirit of what an MLP is, this is an unusual take on it. I’m liking the slightly darker side I’ve been seeing in MLP customs lately! Check out Spippo’s MLP gallery on Deviant Art. You will not be disapointed, I thik she is doing the best stuff. She inspired me to take the plunge and do my first MLP custom.

    @ Vanessa Ruiz

    Donatello needs balance in his life, he’s all geek. Although I was feeling his purple bandeez. Michelangelo and I are BFF material. not to mention, nunchucks are way more badass than the b?staff.

    apparently diacritical marks don’t fly around here.
    to clear that up:
    b?staff = “bostaff”

    Actually Woosie on Deviant Art does even better stuff than Spippo. On a par with the fine work here.
