embroidered MRI slice was created by Becky Stern

Not the most traditional embroidered piece of art, but definitely unique and well done.  This embroidered MRI slice was created by Becky Stern, who’s also embroidering several other slices from her knee MRI.  She’s using the image data from the MRI to create these works of art!  At least she is getting some beautiful work out of a not-so-fun process…

    Quite an interesting approach…would like to find out more on as to why did the artist choose to embroider the mri…..i myself have worked with x-rays,ultasound images….the human body is so very fascinating…..
